Applications in fruits and vegetables
Apple polyphenols have bacteriostatic efficacy, and the minimum inhibitory con-
-centration (MIC) of Bacillus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas and other bacteria
is 0.1%. Spraying low concentrations of apple polyphenol on fresh fruits and ve-
-getables inhibits bacterial reproduction, keeps the original color of fruits and
vegetables, and keeps them clean and antiseptic, without polluting fruits and
vegetables.
Applications in aquatic products
During the processing of aquatic products, apple polyphenol prolongs the shelf
life of aquatic products.
